Comedy Carnival London

What time does the show start?

Comedy Carnival's doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm and finishes at 10pm. There is a night club after the show from 10pm.

How do I book tickets?

Booking tickets online is the easiest way. Simply choose the date you would like to attend and click 'Book Tickets'. You can book tickets right up until the show starts.

How much are tickets?

Standard tickets are £12 on Thursday, £14 on Friday and £16 on Saturday. Student tickets are available on Thursdays for £6.

Are all tickets seated?

Yes. All tickets are seated. Seating is pre-allocated together for bookings of four people or more. Party package tickets include reserved seating.

Can I reserve seats?

Yes. You can buy Party Package tickets which include reserved seating.

Can I buy tickets over the phone?

No. You can only buy tickets online. Groups of 20 or more can call or email us to receive an invoice which is payable by bank transfer and avoids booking fees.

Is there a booking fee?

The booking fee for tickets purchased online is about 10% of the ticket cost to a maximum of £1.95 per ticket.

Party bookings made directly through us carry no booking fee.

How do I pick up my tickets?

You do not need to pick up tickets. You will be sent a confirmation email with an e-ticket and your booking reference number. Simply show your e-ticket or give your booking reference number and name on the door for admission.

Can I get food at the venue?

There is no food available at the venue, however, we offer Show & Dinner tickets which include a two-course dinner at a local restaurant before the show.

Do you offer concessions?

We offer discounts for Heath Care Workers (click here) and half price student tickets on Thursdays.

Are tickets refundable?

No. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned as per our Terms and Conditions. If an event is rescheduled or cancelled, you will be notified by phone or email. For rescheduled events, customers will be offered tickets of equivalent value. For cancelled events, customers will be offered tickets to alternative events (subject to availability).

Is there a discount for large group bookings?

Groups of 20 or more can avoid booking fees by booking directly with us and paying their invoice by bank transfer, saving £1.95 per ticket.

How can I arrange for my group to sit together?

Party Package tickets are pre-allocated together. Alternatively, you can arrive as early as possible. Customers with reserved seats included in Party Package tickets must arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Unclaimed reserved seats will be released before the scheduled start time.

If I am late will you let me into the show?

Yes we will, however we strongly advise that you arrive before the show starts, in order to get a good seat.

Is there a dress code for Comedy Carnival?

No, there is no dress code for the show although smart casual dress is suggested for the night club afterwards. Trainers and jeans are permitted as part of smart casual dress.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes, there is cloakroom at Bar Rumba in Leicester Square and at Infernos in Clapham.

Is there a door policy for Comedy Carnival?

We can not admit anyone under 18 years of age because of license conditions. All patrons must be able to provide photo ID if requested. We reserve the right to refuse admission if we believe a person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In these circumstances we will not refund tickets.

Do you have disabled access?

Bar Rumba in Leicester Square does not have disabled access or facilities.

Infernos in Clapham has both disabled access and disabled facilities.

Can I come to a show for my hen or stag party?

We do not take stag parties. Hen parties are permitted provided they have read and agreed to our Code of Conduct. We ask that all parties respect other members of the audience who are there to enjoy the show.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes. Our Code of Conduct applies to all customers to ensure that everyone can listen to, and enjoy, the show. Talking or disruptive behaviour is not permitted during the performance. Behaviour likely to cause disruption or nuisance may result in the responsible parties being asked to leave the venue.

Is heckling allowed?

Not really. Although some people think heckling is a part of live comedy, it can quickly become tiresome for other members of the audience and the performers. If an audience member persistently interrupts a performer or if the heckling is offensive, we will take action to put a stop to it. In most cases this will firstly be a polite request for the offender to stop their heckling.

What happens when the show is over?

After the show, ticket holders are allowed entry to the night club (except on New Years and Halloween).

What kind of music is played at the night club?

A mix of commercial dance music and pop music.

How do I get an open spot or perform at Comedy Carnival?

Comedy Carnival does not offer open spots and only presents experienced professional comedians. We offer limited shorter spots on Thursday for newer acts with at least 3 years experience. Please contact if interested.

Where can I park near the venue?

The closest car park to Bar Rumba is the Q-Park Chinatown Carpark at 20 Newport Place, London, WC2H 7PR.

The closest car park to Infernos is the Sainsbury's Car Park, open until 11pm and accessed from Clapham Park Road, SW4 7EE. Street parking is available on side streets around Infernos, such as Stonhouse St, which is free on Saturdays.
