What time does Comedy Carnival start?

Comedy Carnival's doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm and finishes at 10pm. There is a night club after the show from 10pm.

How do I book tickets?

Booking tickets online is the easiest way. Simply choose the date you would like to attend and click 'Book Tickets'. You can book tickets right up until the show starts.

How much are tickets?

General Admission tickets start from £12 in advance. You can also buy tickets on the door, which start from £14.

We also have Reserved Seating tickets, which start from £15 and are only available in advance.

Can I reserve seats?

You can buy Reserved Seating tickets from £15 in advance.

Can I buy tickets over the phone?

You can buy any type of ticket over the phone by calling Ticketweb on 08444 77 1000.

For Party bookings of 5 tickets or more, you can book directly through us on 0207 736 1446.

Is there a booking fee?

The booking fee for tickets purchased online or by calling 08444 77 1000 is about 10% of the ticket cost.

Party bookings made directly through us, on 0207 736 1446, are subject to a 3% card transaction fee.

How do I pick up my tickets?

You will be sent a confirmation email with your booking reference number. Give your booking reference number and name on the door and you will be issued your tickets.

How can I use an Activity Superstore voucher to book tickets?

Simply email us with your name, the voucher reference number and the date of the show which you would like to attend.

Can I get food at the venue?

For couples, we offer Show & Dinner tickets at both Leicester Square and Clapham, which include dinner at a local restaurant before the show. Food for groups is available if you book Big Party Package, Ruby Blue Party Package or VIP Box (Saturdays only) tickets in advance .

Do you offer concessions?

The Comedy Carnival offers concessions for students. These tickets are only available at the door for £6 with a valid student ID.

Are tickets refundable?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned as per our Terms and Conditions. If an event is rescheduled or cancelled, you will be notified by phone or email. For rescheduled events, customers will be offered tickets of equivalent value. For cancelled events, customers will be offered tickets to alternative events (subject to availability).

Is there a discount for large group bookings?

We do not offer group discounts as our Party Packages offer excellent value for party bookings.

How can I arrange for my group to sit together?

Booking Reserved Seating tickets or Party Package tickets, or by arriving as early as possible. Customers with reserved seats, including party package tickets, must arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Unclaimed reserved seats will be released 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

If I am late will you let me into the show?

Yes we will, however we strongly advise that you arrive before the show starts, in order to get a good seat.

Is there a dress code for Comedy Carnival?

There is no dress code for the show although smart casual dress is suggested for the night club afterwards. Trainers and jeans are permitted as part of smart casual dress.

Do you have a cloakroom?

There is cloakroom open on Fridays in Leicester Square. The cloakroom at The Grand on Saturdays is only open if the event is extremely busy.

Is there a door policy for Comedy Carnival?

We can not admit anyone under 18 years of age because of license conditions. Proof of age will be required for anyone who appears under 18. We reserve the right to refuse admission if we believe a person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In these circumstances we will not refund tickets.

Do you have disabled access?

Our Friday night venue in Leicester Square has limited disabled access and no disabled facilities. Our Saturday shows at The Grand have disabled access but no disabled facilities.

Can I come to a show for my hen or stag party?

We do not take stag parties. Hen parties are permitted provided they have read and agreed to our Code of Conduct. We ask that all parties respect other members of the audience who are there to enjoy the show.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes. Our Code of Conduct applies to all customers and is there to ensure that everyone can listen to, and enjoy, the show. Talking or disruptive behaviour is not permitted during the performance. Behaviour likely to cause disruption or nuisance may result in the responsible parties being asked to leave the venue.

Is heckling allowed?

Not really. Although some people think heckling is a part of live comedy, it can quickly become tiresome for other members of the audience and the performers. If an audience member persistently interrupts a performer or if the heckling is offensive, we will take action to put a stop to it. In most cases this will firstly be a polite request for the offender to stop their heckling.

What happens when the show is over?

After the show, all ticket holders are allowed entry to the night club. The music policy is commercial club music.

What kind of music is played at the night club?

A mix of commercial dance music and pop music.

How do I get an open spot or perform at Comedy Carnival?

The Comedy Carnival does not do open spots and only uses experienced professional comedians.

Where can I park near the venue?

Fridays at One in Leicester Square - The closest car park is the Leicester Square Car Park on Whitcomb Street.

Saturdays at The Grand in Clapham - There is free parking in Prested Road opposite The Grand or on Severus Road, which runs along the venue off St Johns Hill. There is more, cheap parking available in the car park at Clapham Junction station, directly opposite the venue.
