TOM STADE | Star of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow
“Effortlessly funny performer” EVENING STANDARD
Bought up in the backwoods of British Columbia Tom Stade earned his comedy stripes in Canada, where he recorded his own one-hour TV special Stade And Confused for the Comedy Network.
Now largely based in the UK, he is a circuit stalwart who has appeared on stand-up shows like Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadhsow, The Comedy Store, The Live Floor Show and The World Stands Up.
"No other stand up oozes 'star' like Stade" TORONTO STAR
Tom first settled in the Midlands 'because it was cheap' and now calls Edinburgh his home after getting rather a long lease during the Edinburgh Festival in 2006, at which he performed his first solo show "...And Relax." There isn't a normal everyday activity that Tom won't see the funny side in, mind you that's everyday for the people of Bilston, not a man from west Canada. But if life in the UK can seem dull, Tom will make the best of it, even if it means pretending he's a spy in Argos.
