In just a very short time Reginald D Hunter has become firmly established himself as one of the most sought after headline comedians on the comedy circuit. Audiences everywhere have been enthralled by his straight-talking, no-holds-barred approach to some of the most contentious issues of contemporary society.
Born in Georgia, USA, Reginald moved to the UK eight years ago, leaving behind what he felt was the repressive atmosphere of his hometown. Intending to further his acting career he studied at RADA and went on to perform in productions as varied as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and good old fashioned Pantomime.
His comedy career was launched when, having performed his first comedy set as a dare, he received the princely sum of £10 and realised that this was a far better way of earning a living than becoming a waiter or cleaning offices (the only other options open to him at the time).

Reginald’s career has led to him being invited to perform the world over in places as far afield as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and South Africa. He is also one of the rare breed of comedians to have been nominated for the Perrier Award in three consecutive years.
The success of his live performances has led to Reginald becoming a regular face on television with appearances on Live at the Apollo(BBC) QI (BBC) 8 out of 10 Cats (Ch 4) Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC) and Have I Got News for You (BBC).
