
HAL CRUTTENDEN | Perrier Award nomineeHal Cruttenden is one the most respected performers on the British comedy circuit. He was nominated for The Perrier Newcomer Award at the 2002 Edinburgh Festival and is a regular at all the major clubs including the Comedy Store and Jongleurs. On television, he has appeared on the11 O’Clock Show, (Channel 4), Brain Candy (BBC3), Live at Jongleurs (UK Gold/Paramount), The Warehouse (Carlton TV), Carlton Comedy Warehouse (Carlton/STV), Hoot (Bravo), Net.Comedy (Action Time), Daily Telegraph Open Mic Awards (Channel 5), House of Fun (Meridien). He has just filmed an appearance on The World Stands Up for Paramount and Comedy Central in the USA. On radio he has been heard on Radio 4’s Four at the Store.
Hal has also had several jollies abroad for The Comedy Store in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; The Singapore Comedy Festival, China Comedy Club in Shanghai, and the Jakarta Comedy Club. He opened the first comedy venue in Bali. In Europe he has appeared at Toomlers(Amsterdam, Netherlands), on the Lucky Strike Tour Netherlands(Breda, Groningen and Eindhoven) and at Comedy Club Brussels (Belgium)
Hal also works as an actor and has appeared in Shackleton, Eastenders, Kavanagh QC, Out of the Blue, Touching Evil and Bramwell. On film he has appeared in Mrs Dalloway and The Madness of King George.
