Stand Up Comedians

Adam BloomANDI OSHO  |  Star of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Stand Up for the Week

In her first year of comedy, she reached the final of no less than five major new talent competitions. Her hard work was rewarded in 2007 when she won the I award.

"The perfect balance of confidence... an expert at working the room" CHORTLE

Andi Osho is fiercely Nigerian, but that certainly doesn't stop her from lampooning the country she is so proud of. Whether it be mothers threatening their daughters or the conversations of gay men, there is no Nigerian characteristic that Andi doesn't know about.

Despite only performing stand up for a relatively short time, Andi has appeared on numerous comedy television shows including Live at The Apollo, Stand Up For The Week and Mock The Week. She was also given the accolade of her own TV pilot on E4 called The Andi O Show and has written the spoof CSI: Nigeria for BBC3.

“Her work is visual, narrative and pivots on her perfect delivery” THE GUARDIAN

Having started her performing career in dramatics, she has appeared in Eastenders, Doctors, Casualty, Waking The Dead and Footballer's Wives. With an acting brain and a keen eye for the characters she comes across, it is no surprise that Andi's star has risen so quickly.
